An ancient trade, reimagined for a cleaner Jaipur.
The kabadiwala — that familiar call echoing through Jaipur's lanes — has been the backbone of India's informal recycling economy for generations. But the trade was fragmented, the prices opaque, and the process entirely untracked.
We built Kabadiwalaz to honour this tradition while fixing everything broken about it. Clear prices, published daily. Free pickup, for everyone. Instant payment, on the spot. And crucially — a recycling facility of our own, so nothing we collect ever leaves the loop.
"Every kilo of scrap that reaches a landfill is a failure of imagination — and a missed opportunity for Jaipur."

01.
The problem we saw
Jaipur households and offices were getting unfair rates for scrap — or being ignored entirely — while tonnes of recyclable paper headed to landfill.
-
02.
The solution we built
A modern kabadiwala — transparent pricing, app-based booking, certified scales, and instant UPI payment. No negotiation needed. No trust required. Just fairness, by design.
-
03.
The loop we closed
We built our own recycling plant in Jaipur. Every kilo we collect is pulped, processed, and converted into recycled paper products — supplied directly to local businesses.
